Enterprise Account Executive

This is a hunter role responsible for prospecting, nurturing, negotiating and closing new business. Both inside and outside sales are a part of this position. You'll be responsible for tapping into the significant demand present in the market today with an aggressive sales quota based on revenue and margin. There are no territory limitations to this role so the upside opportunity is strong. You should be the type of person that loves to close a deal and be in the moment. Experience in the translation market is a plus, but by no means required.

We’re looking for an intelligent, independent and aggressive self-starter to help Gengo strengthen its sales presence with East coast and partial European timezone coverage. You will be pioneering Gengo's East Coast sales expansion working as the first member in this region. Backed with the full support of Gengo’s global team, communication is key as we collectively work together to meet our overall revenue targets.

Most importantly, you should have an international attitude and be excited about helping Gengo customers go global quickly. We're also looking for someone who is energized by being part of a international team with people all over the world. 

 

The ideal candidate's profile might look like this:

  • 4+ years in a quota-based sales role, meeting or exceeding quota
  • Promoted 6 months after joining most recent company
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
  • Recipient of one or more sales awards in the past year
  • Have closed one or more $500,000 deals in the past year
  • An independent self-starter who actively seeks opportunity  
  • Excellent with Salesforce CRM, forecasting and pipeline management
  • Eager to be Gengo's founding East coast-based  Enterprise Account Executive
  • Comfortable working remote and/or from a shared office space
  • Comfortable working across timezones to stay aligned with global team
